Getting Zeitflex on your phone

The honest status

The Zeitflex app for iPhone and Android is built, but not yet published in the app stores. We say this openly here, because otherwise you would search for it and find nothing.

What works today: Zeitflex in your phone's browser, with a shortcut on the home screen. In look and handling this is close to an app — only offline operation remains reserved for the actual app.

Creating a shortcut — iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open Safari and sign in to Zeitflex.
  2. At the bottom, tap the Share icon (square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen.
  4. Confirm the name, done.

Creating a shortcut — Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Chrome and sign in to Zeitflex.
  2. At the top right, tap the three dots.
  3. Choose Add to Home screen (depending on the version also “Install app”).
  4. Confirm, done.

The result: A Zeitflex icon on the home screen. Tapping it opens the time clock — no address bar, no searching.

What the real app can also do

So that it is clear what you are waiting for:

  • Clock in/out offline. Entries go into a local queue and are sent on as soon as there is a network again — without duplicate entries.
  • Push notifications, for example for approved vacation or a forgotten clock-out.
  • Biometric lock (fingerprint or face recognition) as protection on your own device.
  • Photo of the sick note uploaded directly from the camera.

Still stuck?

If you cannot find the shortcut, it also works without one: Zeitflex works in any phone browser via the normal address. Save it as a bookmark.

Last checked on . We check every article against the application — if something no longer matches, that is a bug and not a difference of opinion.
